Greater Helsinki lost persons speaking national languages and persons in the age group of families with children to other parts of Finland in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, migration from Greater Helsinki to other parts of Finland became livelier especially among those aged 25 to 44 and 0 to 6. The historical migration loss of Greater Helsinki was visible in all educational groups, but the loss was highest among persons with at least lowest tertiary education or lower tertiary education.
